Here are some brief points of interest about Hannah:
Hannah Madison Taylor first broke onto the Dallas TX music scene in 2006 playing clubs and local venues to appreciative audiences and solid revues. Still in school at that time she worked as a songwriter collaborating with many artists and producers including Trina Harmon Tim Lauer Marlow Rosado and producer Chris Bell.
In December of 2008 she got a nice break when New York Giants cornerback R.W. McQuarters was given a copy of her demo and loved it. He then invited Hannah to make her NYC debut to a celebrity-filled audience taking them by surprise with a riveting performance. The buzz continued to grow in 2009-2010 as Hannah’s music drew attention from indie and online radio stations attracting multiple interviews and live performances for People Magazine MTV VH1 AEG Sony Live Nation GAP and other media companies.
At the beginning of 2010 Hannah began writing and recording her LP Love or Something Like It. That spring she was approached by her then-attorney/concert promoter (at least he claimed to be) and he offered Hannah the chance to open in a series of tours starting in the Fall of 2010 in South America. The first band she would open for was to be Green Day. After finishing her LP and prepping an entire show for months (band dancers the whole nine yards the fellow told Hannah and her band the day before they were suppose to fly out that they were being cancelled from the tour due to poor ticket sales. As it turned out that was not anywhere near the truth. The attorney/promoter had in fact sold the shows and stolen the funds from the group that had invested in that portion of HMT's career. As a lawsuit and investigations proceeded it was also discovered that her “attorney” (who had been doing business throughout Dallas NYC and LA as supposedly a “top” entertainment attorney) was neither an accredited attorney nor a licensed agent of any kind.
In spite of that devastating discovery and loss of her investment group’s finances Hannah went out and booked a college radio tour by herself in the spring of 2011.
In August 2011 only two days after her official move to LA she received her first major break in television with a principle role on All Rise” (AKA - Cedric the Entertainer Court Series). Through the Fall of 2011 Hannah continued to get small roles in various films (“Pitch Perfect” as the young ICCA Judge) and television (USA Network's Common Law). At this time HMT is still pursuing her career in music as a singer (through performing and music licensing) continuing to writer/co-write as a songwritercontinuing her acting career is part of a producing team that is currently developing a feature film based on the Deep Water Horizon oil platform explosion and tragedy and is even beginning to write a children's book....(Read less)
