Growing up in the country running through Grandpa's big gardens and pond fishing with her dad were all factors in defining Brittany Marie as a 'country girl'. Whether in church or school she would find herself involved in musical performances choirs or plays. But it wasn't until after graduating high school that she realized singing and performing were her real passions in life and would become what she would pursue as a career. It's now obvious Brittany's s were country and her passion was singing. Adding the two together equals Country-Pop singer/songwriter: Brittany Marie™.
With simple suggestions and no solid direction Brittany took a chance and launched her own career. There was constant input and opinions of any and everyone which led to writing and performing with most any opportunity that came her way. Since her launch she has had opportunity to perform as direct support for National Touring Artists as Chris Young Brett Eldredge The Eli Young Band The Band Perry Aaron Tippin Chase Rice Clint Black and more! She has also opened shows for others such as Old Dominion Dylan Scott Chris Lane Kenny Chesney and more. She has proven she can hold her own in the Country Music Industry and is diligently working to further her career indefinitely. Still unsure about her journey and direction Brittany released a self-titled EP. Shy of total satisfaction with where she was musically she realized her best option for becoming who she truly wanted to be as an artist would be to listen to her very own opinion her gut.
?I felt drawn to the rock influence after releasing the cover 'Paint it Black' by the Rolling Stones. The single and video became highly praised and I enjoyed performing that style of music. I knew I needed new material and wanted to bring that rock influence into it.? And that is exactly what she has done.
Late fall of 2016 Brittany sat down with friend John Kendall Royston with Echo Dog Productions to discuss her vision and how they could go about creating it. With the help of JK's friend James Wright to co-write they teamed up to 're-invent' Brittany Marie.
?James is incredibly talented and a lot of fun to work with.? The team re-invented Brittany with one of her latest single releases - 'Red Light'. Brittany Marie's new sound is evolving with more of a rock pop influence and is evident in the song. The second release of the new sound - 'Dare You to Dare Me To' has a pop country sound.
?There is excitement in the new music and in everything I'm now doing. I'm loving it. It's something I'm finally 100 proud of. I have no doubts that what I'm currently putting my time and effort into is the real me. I'm so excited to share it with everyone and can't wait until the next release date is set.?
